PAYMENT METHOD

eFurnitureHouse.com we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Money Orders and Personal Checks. Returned checks will incur a $35.00 charge for handling.

SALES TAX
Sales tax in Orange County, California is 7.75%. This will apply to all sales destined for the State of California. For orders outside California, but within the United States, are not required to collect sales tax. Tax is charged on shipping.

WARRANTIES

eFurnitureHouse.com come with a 90 days warranty, begins at the time merchandise is delivered. Should you have a problem related to manufacturer defect or damage.  Contact us as soon as possible to assist you in resolving the problem in a timely and professional manner.

(Additional shipping fees will apply for Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and destinations not reached by freight trucks. Please contact us for shipping quote prior to placing orders).

FURNITURE  ASSEMBLY

Most of the furniture sold  requires minor assembly.  Assembly is easy, requires tools that are available in every household such as screwdrivers, wrenches.

  • If you require assembly, please let us know when placing an order. There will be an additional fee for assembly.
  • During assembly if you encounter damaged, defective or missing parts, in most cases we will ship a new part to replace the defective one or damaged one.
  • During assembly if you encounter damaged, defective or missing part, please circle the damaged or the missing part or parts on your instruction sheet and fax it to us with your order number. This is the most efficient way to resolve all problems quickly should they arise.
  • Damaged, defective or missing parts must be reported within 7 days of receiving item.
  • It is important to keep the damaged part or parts in case we request to have it back.  You are fully responsible to cooperate with the return of the damaged item if we deem if necessary to have it back. Failure to return a damaged item will cause us to charge your credit card for the price of the non returned item.

 

 SHIPPING
Shipping charges range between 16 to 25 % over and above the price of your total purchase. For exact shipping costs please add add item(s) to shopping cart and enter your zip code and our rating system will calculate the shipping costs.  Your shipping price is based on your entire order as long as it is delivered to one place. We use some of the finest shipping companies in the business, Fedex Ground, UPS, for small items and others ground freight carrier companies for larger items.

DELIVERY

  • In general, orders are usually shipped within 5-7 business days of receiving full payment if the item is in stock.
  • If an item is out of stock, you will notified and you will be given an approximate date when item is expected in our warehouses and approximate shipping date will be given.
  • To be able to provide you with the lowest shipping rates, all deliveries via freight companies will be curbside deliveries.  It will be your responsibility to bring the furniture inside the premise.
  • Inside home delivery is available for an additional fee.  For “White Glove” delivery that includes inside delivery, placement of items in room of choice, light assembly, and removal of cartons and other packaging materials. Please contact us for additional fees.
  • You must let us know prior to placing an order if you wish to have inside delivery or “White Glove” delivery, so we can provide you with an accurate quote for shipping, including these services.
  • The freight company will contact the customer in advance to schedule time of delivery.
  • Freight companies will only give a time slot for delivery which is usually 2 t0 4 hours, or sometimes it can be during business hours with no specific time.  You will have to make an arrangements to receive the package or have someone at your home or business to receive it on your behalf.
  • If your address is not accessible by the delivery truck, we will arrange for the transport of your merchandise to the nearest accessible point, and it will be your responsibility to provide transportation from that point to your destination.
  • If a freight company is asked to make another delivery attempt, an extra delivery fee of $75.00 will be assessed.
  • If you require your delivery to be on a Saturday, there will be an extra charge.

ACCEPTING MERCHANDISE:

 

Prior to signing off your freight bill, it is your responsibility to inspect your packages and boxes from the outside for any visible damages, dents, dings, holes, rips that could have occurred in transit and have all comments noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery.  Please verify the number of boxes you received matches with the number of boxes on the freight bill.  Do not refuse an order because an item appears damaged, just note the damages on the bill of lading by stating "Visible damage to the outside".  Refusing an order on this basis will result in cancellation fees, restocking fees and freight charges being applied. During delivery if in doubt call (800) 507-5440.  Failure to note damages on the freight bill will absolve the shipping company of any responsibility if a damage claim is submitted at a future date.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURN POLICY
Orders may be canceled in whole or in part at our sole discretion, taking into account the status of your order at the time you request cancellation. When you request to cancel an order prior to shipping we reserve the right to charge a $25 cancellation fee or 3% of the total order or which ever is higher. These fees cover the credit card transaction and processing charges that are non-refundable.  If the cancellation is due to an item being out of stock or discontinued no fees will be applied. In the event you refuse an order after it was shipped, you will receive credit less the actual freight charges both ways and a 15% restocking fee.  
In the event of returning an item, you will be required to reimburse us for the actual shipping cost both ways.  In addition a charge of 15% of the total invoice will be assessed for restocking fees. Credits take 2-5 business days to appear on a credit card.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURN POLICY FOR ITEMS WITH FREE SHIPPING

If the cancellation is due to an item being out of stock or discontinued no fees will be applied. In the event you refuse an order after it was shipped, you will receive credit less the actual freight charges both ways and a 15% restocking fee. In the event of cancellation of order and returning an item, you will be required to reimburse us for the actual shipping cost both ways and a 15% restocking fee.

 CANCELLATIONS :  You must be sure to measure the areas that the furniture is going to be placed, and you have to be determined about the finish, the color and the size. We will not return back any furniture on this basis. We do not guarantee color, tone, shades or finishes on any item because screen settings may vary from PC to PC.
